Jasmine

When Jenna and I met, I had a golden retriever named Bella.  She was the sweetest dog who taught me a lot about myself and my emotions.  She was there for me through everything major in my life, a constant reminder that life is good and meant to be full of joy.  When Jenna and I started dating, she was with us all the way through our engagement and even made it to our wedding in St. Augustine.  Unfortunately, after 13 amazing years, we had to let Bella go.  We thought that we would try to make the best out of our newfound freedom by doing the things we couldn’t as easily do with a dog.

As it turns out, Bella had one more lesson for us.  She taught us that having something to come home to, look forward to, be responsible for, and share life with was more important and more enjoyable than living without a pet.  She had taught us that we were a golden retriever family!  So, in November of 2019, we brought Bella’s sister Jasmine home.  Jasmine’s name means “gift from God” and she’s showing us every day how true that is!
